I have always had a sense of service to others and wanted to help those in need, while also respecting their dignity. I have 20+ years experience working in homes, with children, young adults or seniors who need some gentle care. I also have personal experience as a caregiver for my mother, who had Parkinson's. I returned to in-home care a few years ago, leaving a job in Special Education in the public schools, to have more flexibility to help my parents. I am an also musician, mother to 2 little dogs, and am a huge nature lover, especially birds.
