About Laura

I was a certified nursing assistant at a nursing home and spent a year doing home care for the same agency. I cared for both my parents through their challenges until they passed. I had the honor and privilege of working with two amazing women one who had dementia and the other Parkinson's to allow them to stay in their homes remaining safe. For both I developed and implemented engaging learning and shared activities to provide meaningful moments while navigating behavioral changes as well as celebrating joy. I am an actor who loves to sing and move and engage in meaningful conversation. I am also a licensed alcohol and drug counselor currently working at a high school but looking for part-time flexible employment.
