About Patricia

I have had a lifetime of caring for people and animals. Growing up on an active farm with a collection of animals and grandparents nearby introduced me to caregiveing. In high school and for several years after, I worked as a nurses aid in hospitals and nursing homes. As a mother, I was also a family day care mom, raised my own family and now have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. I provided 24 hr care for our mother for the last three months of her life. I have served as Medical POA for several friends and most recently provided part-time care for a friend with Alzhiemers prior to her moving to a care facility. I was often the only one who could get her out of bed, dressed, or into a car. I am a "country cook", understand nutrition, experienced at managing a household. currently I provide services for a gal with frontal lobe issues on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
