About Raquel

Hi! I'm Raquel (you can also call me Rocky), a grad student, artist, and longtime caregiver with over four years of experience working with kids, mostly between the ages of 6 and 11. A lot of that time has been spent caring for my younger cousins (who are now teens!), helping run volleyball and soccer summer camps at my all-girls Catholic high school, and volunteering at a family friend's childcare center. I really love spending time with kids--their imagination, energy, and honesty always make my day. As an artist, I'm big on creativity and love doing arts and crafts, storytelling, and fun projects that keep little ones engaged. I'm also always happy to head to the park, play games, or help out with homework. I'm CPR + First Aid certified through the Red Cross, have a car, and am available during the day (and some nights) on weekdays and weekends. I bring a calm, kind, and playful presence, and would love to be a caring extra set of hands for your family!
