About Porter

Hello! My name is Porter. I am a 22-year-old recent graduate from Cal Poly (SLO) where I majored in psychology and minored in early childhood development, and graduated with high honors (4. 0). I currently work as a teaching assistant for Kumon in Atascadero. My primary role is to assist younger children (ages 4+) with their math and reading skills--a job I greatly enjoy. Additionally, I completed a six month internship with Child Welfare Services in Santa Maria where I worked alongside families and conducted supervised visits with children of all ages. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, and volunteering with hospice.
