About Daisy Mae

Hello families! My name is Daisy, and I am currently a 4th year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, studying Child Development. I have always known that I wanted to build my career around children. So far, I have work experience as a preschool teacher, an after school program recreational aide, and a summer camp counselor. I am originally from Long Beach, CA, where I was a part of a new program for high school students who wanted to become teachers. I was the innagural student to complete the program where I was then awarded a teaching contract from my district that I can fullfill when I acquire all neccessary certifications post graduation! I love spending time outside, camping, cooking/baking, and trying new coffee shops! Thank you all for the pleasure it will be to get to know you and your children. :)
