Most of my work experience consists of working with kids because I find that kind of work most gratifying! I love to build relationships with both the kids and parents I sit for. Those bonds often extend past the purely-professional in the sense that I make an effort to truly get to know the kiddos and build trust with the whole family. In doing so, I've found that babysitting or nannying often feels like spending time with people I care about rather than just a job. That's not to say that safety and professionalism aren't of supreme importance to me, as making sure everybody's needs are met and we're in safe situations always comes first.
