About Ori

As a teacher and nanny, I am experienced with working with parents to help support the development and growth of their tiny, beloved humans. I care deeply about the safety and individuality of all of my children and the connection we have as caregiver and cared. I am always looking to foster stimulating play and bonding time with the natural world. I like working with kids because I love to encourage selfhood, responsibility, and fun as they grow into themselves. I'm looking for a job where I am able to work a couple mornings a week with a young child to support parents to have some time to get things done and have a little me-time. I started working with kids when I was a teenager in high school. I nannied and led a nursery classroom throughout college , and taught early childhood education post-college. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my partner and two cats in our cozy apartment, hiking around Oregon, sketching and painting, and cooking for my family.
