About Katie

I graduated in 2012 from the University of Oregon with a Business Marketing degree. Growing up, my Mom was a preschool teacher and I loved being around kids. Throughout high school and college I babysat a lot and always loved it. I have babysat kids of all ages and I would say there are certain things I enjoy about each specific age so I am open to taking care of kids of any age, I don't have a preference. I have worked at a 24-hour fitness facility in the child care supervising multiple kids at a time from the ages of 6 months to 11 years. I have been a Nanny for a family in Portland since I graduated college, since the kids are in school and the parents don't need me full time, I am looking for a full-time Nanny position. The kids I have been nannying are ages 5 and 6. I would take them to school and pick them up, help with homework, help make dinner and play with the kids. I am very responsible and have a clean driving record. I am also a volenteer for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization where I meet with a kid once a month who I help mentor. I have open availability. In terms of my personality, I am very outgoing, active (I love working out: running, spin classes, pilates, and bootcamp classes!)
