I have a BA in Theater, Speech and English Ed and am certified in Early Childhood Waldorf Education, as well as child/infant CPR/First Aid. I have 12 years experience as a Waldorf teacher with nursery/preschool through gradeschool age children. Before 2009 I was a nanny for several years, camp counselor, and therapeutic arts in nature facilitator with teens and adults. I especially love all weather outdoor time and fostering child led imagination and creativity. The families I have worked with over the years continue to be dear friends. I'm so looking forward to making more!

We love Oohna! With her background in Waldorf early childhood education, she brings great expertise to her work. She is an amazing, loving teacher and childcare provider to our 2 year old son. She brings him to the park and they do a lot of nature discovery. She also has a background in trauma-informed childcare and is very safety-conscious. It is clear that working with kids is her passion and life’s work. She is easy to communicate with and has a very calm and relaxed presence. We are so grateful to have her as a babysitter, if a nanny was in our budget we would hire her in a heartbeat!
