I am available to take one child into my home in Duvall on Wednesdays. I will have my 6-month-old baby and a 6-year-old lazy chocolate lab here as well. I work part-time as a licensed child and family therapist and am interested in taking on a few more hours, but need to have my child with me on Wednesdays. Prior to becoming a licensed therapist I spent about 6 years working in early childhood education settings with infants through school-aged children, then spent 5 years working in residential behavioral health facilities with teenagers. My family spends a lot of time outdoors and values experiential learning. My parenting style is relaxed yet intentional, working to provide developmentally appropriate skills for success. Please be comfortable with having a pet in the home, and outings such as walks, parks, libraries, etc.

I would hire Amber again, no hesitations! She is incredibly kind, patient and responsible. She prepares engaging activities for my boys and maintains the routines and standards of our home. Her background in social work gives her additional skills for mentoring my kids to make good choices, fulfill their responsibilities and creating healthy boundaries or discipline when necessary. My kids love being with her! Amber is the best you could ask for.
