About Omar

Hi! I am a professionally trained actor, classical guitar player, and poet (member of the Poetry Society of New York). Prior to attending the acting conservatory, I attended medical school, where I studied pediatrics (childcare from a medical perspective, and also from a caregiver's perspective in the wards). I have been teaching beginner and intermediate guitar to children and adults for three years now, and it is honestly so fulfilling to see my students grow with their instrument, and learn to express themselves through music! Being an avid reader, writer of poetry, and having had extensive Shakespeare training at the conservatory, I have a deep sense and understanding of literature and creative writing.
