About Nyia

Hi! My name is Nyia, and I am currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work at VCU. I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, from infants and toddlers to school-aged children and teens. My background includes nannying, working in schools, and years of experience in the medical field, which has helped me develop strong skills in patience, responsibility, and creating a safe, supportive environment for children. I love being active and engaged with kids-whether that means outdoor adventures, park trips, crafts, reading, helping with homework, or creating fun daily routines that keep them learning and entertained. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your family, and I pride myself on being reliable, caring, and adaptable to each family's unique needs. I'm looking forward to connecting with families who value kindness, communication, and a nurturing environment! I am ample medical experience, along with CPR and first aid training.
