I'd describe my personality as funny, caring, and thoughtful. I like tutoring because I enjoy seeing growth in students when they receive individualized instruction that is tailored to their strengths and needs. I'm looking for a job that allows me to prepare students for what lies ahead and gives them the confidence to succeed in the future. I have 27 years of experience teaching elementary students. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, watch soccer, and play with my dogs. One thing you should know about me is that I am solution-focused. When one method does not work, I will keep trying to find a solution or method that works. My skills include 27 years of teaching experience, bilingual in Spanish, and a former Family Therapist, so I am very patient, understanding, easy-going, flexible, and accommodating.
