About Nil

Hi, I'm Nil. I recently completed my third year at DU, where I am pursuing a B. S. in Biology, a B. A. in Japanese, and a minor in Chemistry. I enjoy helping elementary, middle, and high school students strengthen their STEM, reading, writing, and academic skills while building confidence in the classroom. I am especially passionate about working with EFL/ESL learners. As someone who learned English as my third language, I understand the challenges of developing confidence in speaking, writing, and communication. I strive to create a patient, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing through the learning process. I also help students develop study strategies, organization, time management, and learning habits that support long-term success. Every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to the student's goals, pace, and learning style while encouraging independence and confidence. Looking forward to connecting.
