About Nicole

Currently, I am employed for the government Mon- Fri. where I run an adult academy. I'm seeking a weekend position within the childcare and education field. I'm also available weekdays after 4 p.m. and all federal holidays! If you need one or two full days of weekday childcare I have flexibility to work sporadically, and I also can be a vacation nanny as needed. In 2009, I graduated from Sacred Heart University, in Fairfield, CT with a Master of Arts in Teaching. I've been involved in childcare and education since I first began babysitting over 25 years ago. I obtained my first teaching job at age 15 as a swim instructor at the YMCA and continued a career that I love as an educator. I specialize in application of ABA techniques with children who have autism and experience with gifted students. I also taught nature programs, Spanish language, technology education utilizing robotics, digital applications and Lego engineering. I'm very active. I run marathons, bike and love to be outside!

Nicole has been taking care of our children for a short time, but we are incredibly happy with her. She's very thorough and detailed (she writes down everything in a notebook). She brings enthusiasm and energy to her days with my kids. More importantly, my kids really enjoy their time with her.
