About Kara

Hello families of San Diego! My name is Kara and I'm currently a student teacher in SDSU's teacher credentialing program. I'm both CPR/First Aid certified and I drive my own car. Most of my nannying experience is with toddlers ~1 to 3 yo, but I have experience caring for infants and working in a classroom/after school program with large groups of school aged children as well. I prefer a screen-free environment and enjoy planning structured and learning-based play. I also enjoy walks to the park (pups are always welcome to come!) and if you're comfortable, outings to the library or the aquarium!
