About Kara

Hello families of San Diego! My name is Kara and I'm currently a graduate student & student teacher attending SDSU. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and am currently working to earn my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (expected May 2026). I'm both CPR/First Aid certified and I drive my own car. Most of my nannying experience is with toddlers 1 to 3 yo, but I have experience caring for infants and running a classroom with large groups of school-aged children as well. I prefer a screen-free environment and enjoy planning structured and learning-based play. I also enjoy walks to the park (pups are always welcome to come!) and if you're comfortable, outings to the library, beach, and the aquarium! I'm looking for a full-time position.
