About Kara

Hello families of San Diego! My name is Kara and I'm currently a student at Mesa College studying to become an elementary school teacher. I've been working as a caregiver since 2020, and previously I worked as a phlebotomist in a long-term care facility. I'm both CPR/First Aid certified and I drive my own car. Most of my working experience is with toddlers ~1 to 3 yo but I have worked with infants and school aged children as well. I prefer a screen-free environment and enjoy planning structured and learning-based play. I also enjoy walks to the park (pups are welcome to come!) and if you're comfortable, outings to the library or the aquarium!
