About Natalia

Strong foundation in computational biology and hands-on laboratory research, I bring a blend of academic, biotech, and teaching experience. As a graduate researcher in SDSU's Bioinformatics & Medical Informatics program. Prior to this, I spent two years as a Research Associate in a biotechnology company, contributing to experimental workflows, data generation, and interdisciplinary research teams. Alongside my scientific roles, I have served as a tutor in charter schools and other educational environments, supporting students including those with specialized or individualized learning needs in mastering STEM subjects. I'm passionate about inspiring students and helping them build confidence in computational science, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
