About Nancy

For the last 28 years, I have been helping students unlock their full potential. I am a certified k-6 teacher with a graduate degree. I believe every student is unique and can succeed with personalized support. I adapt my teaching methods by listening to and observing students, varying my strategies, and seeking feedback. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests and celebrating small wins. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and building trust with students and parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I am willing to tutor at your home, my home, or online. I have a car and can help your elementary school student with all elementary subject areas. I would love to help your child grow their confidence and foster a love for learning.
