About Myles

Hello! I'm a math teacher with a Bachelors in Mathematics and a Masters Degree in Teaching Studies. For the last nine years I've been teaching full time and tutoring math at multiple schools in person and online. I love working with each student in designing engaging lessons to fit their unique needs. I currently work full-time as a math teacher in California and am tutoring on the side as it is a passion of mine to work one-on-one with tutees. I recognize that every student learns differently and incorporate creative and innovative ways to approach math such as with visual diagrams to draw out patterns to make math make sense. I also meet the student where they are at and adapt to their needs with different teaching styles. I have taught students and tutees ranging from middle school to college level.
