About Aleeza

Hi! I'm Aleeza, a Biological Sciences student at UCI with several years of experience working with and teaching students of different ages. I've worked with high school students in Biology and Geometry, helping them catch up on coursework, understand difficult concepts, and build confidence in school. I also have experience teaching preschool-aged children in early reading, writing, shapes, and basic math. As a tutor, I'm patient, encouraging, and focused on explaining things in a way that actually makes sense to each student. I like to break difficult concepts down step-by-step, work through examples together, and create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I'm especially comfortable with Biology, Chemistry, Math, and other STEM subjects, as well as homework help, studying, and general academic support. My goal is to make learning feel less overwhelming and help students feel confident in their abilities!
