About Mussie

I've always loved working with kids and creating positive experiences for them. As the oldest of three, I've had plenty of hands-on experience helping take care of my younger brother (11) and sister (13) from changing their diapers when they were babies to helping them with their homework and now everyday routines. I've worked as a paraeducator at Renton High School, supporting students in the classroom, and I currently work with Upower, where I help build strong relationships through movement and play. Our focus is empowering youth from underserved communities through trauma-informed coaching. I've also coached middle school basketball, which taught me how to keep kids motivated, active, and having fun while learning teamwork and confidence. I'm patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel supported.
