Hi! I'd describe my personality as cheerful, kind, and enthusiastic. I like working with kids because of the strong bonds that I build with them. I love seeing children achieve amazing milestones! I'm looking for a job that is in a fun and respectful environment. I am very flexible if individuals requests arise. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. I worked at the Southington YMCA Learning Center and at YMCA Camp Sloper as a camp counselor. I have 8 total years of experience working with children from the ages of 3 months to 14 years. I have babysat locally for many families and am looking to explore beyond my hometown! In my spare time, I like to hike, go boating, and ride my bike down Southington's Rails to Trails! One thing that you should know is the most important thing to me is safety. Safety is my #1 priority. Safety is behind every decision that I make. My top 3 child care skills include strong and effective communication skills, patience, and compassion.
