About Julia

My name is Julia, I am 24 years old, from Southington, CT. I graduated from Tulane University in May of 2022 with degrees in psychology and biology. I am currently beginning a Masters program for psychology, and am looking to work while I pursue my degree. My background and interest in psychology gives me a wider perspective on child development, which I believe is an asset in encouraging developmentally appropriate behaviors. I have always loved working with children, and have years of experience in both daycare and nannying settings. I have worked with children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, and feel comfortable with any age. I have an outgoing personality, and really enjoy making the little things in life fun. My priorities are making the child feel safe, respected, and listened to, while encouraging independence and social skills. It is important to me that I spend time engaging with the children and encouraging their likes and interests.
