It's normal to be tepid when you have someone you don't know to take care of your child. So after moving to Austin from NYC with our precious 1 year old, we wanted only the best to take care of her. After countless interviews and trials with multiple caregivers, we were fortunate to have found Monica. Our daughter took a liking to her immediately. Monica's schedule was 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Always on time and on many occasions she took care of our daughter during our date nights. Monica's interaction and child development teachings has made her exceptionally advanced, as the teachers at St. Luthern's Preschool have pointed out; where we just enrolled her. We would have been utterly content having Monica take care of her until kindergarten, but we wanted her to interact with other children her age. We have to attribute and give credit to Monica for our daughter's advanced development. We have introduced at least half-dozen other couples, looking for caregivers, to Care.com. We feel providential to have Monica become a part of our daughter's life and ours. Monica, if you're reading this, you should know that when we have our next child, we hope that you will do for him/her what you did for our daughter, WE LOVE YOU & thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of our precious girl.
