About Monica

Born and raised on Maui, I have always been passionate about caring for our local community. I have nearly a decade of experience in service-oriented positions that cater to the needs, health, and development of others, including special needs, disability, child care, and home care services. Within my home care experience, I have assisted with ADLs such as feeding, hygiene, transfers, bathing, toileting, medication management, and therapy assistance. I am also certified in Child, Infant, Adult CPR & First Aid, with an additional Lifeguard certification. I am comfortable with cleaning, errands, pet care, companionship, and any other needs required for comfortable and quality care. I am currently in graduate school pursuing my Masters in Counseling Psychology, and have obtained counseling proficiencies along with mental and psychological health education. I am seeking opportunities that align well with my current academic schedule, and would love to connect and be of assistance!
