I have cared for my grandmother with dementia in her last years of life. I have cared for my wife's grandfather recently. It was a gift to spend that time with her/him and grow in empathy and compassion for those who have cared for others their whole lives but now need daily care themselves. I have a heart that enjoys serving and loving on others! I am married and a father with 3 young children and would love them to see me setting an example of taking care of those in need.
