My name is Monica, and I've been working as a childcare provider for over 15 years. I've cared for children of all ages: newborns, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and teenagers. I've also worked with twins, premature babies, and kids with special needs such as ADHD, Autism, OCD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia.

I have a background in physical therapy, and I hold an associate's degree in psychology and behavioral sciences, as well as in child development. I'm currently working on an MBA. I'm always learning and regularly take courses in child development

I'm CPR, First Aid, and AED certified for infants, children, and adults. I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and I speak intermediate Italian and can teach children the basics of either language if you so desire.

She is incredible! She is thoughtful and reliable. She makes instant connections with kids and takes great care of them. I have two very active boys and she is great about ideas to keep them busy. Not only that, she is communicative. Cannot recommend highly enough! 

We love Monica! She is a wonderful babysitter for our two girls (ages 5 and 2). She is also very responsive and has wonderful communication. Monica is very reliable and our girls love playing with her. 

She even helped watch my daughters all day while I had surgery (she even offered to spend the night last minute if need be).

Monica has been our nanny for the past 2+ years, caring for our son from the time he was just a few months old. During this time, she has provided truly exceptional care for our son... and he has flourished! He is happy, confident, and curious about the world, and so much of that is thanks to the love and structure Monica has given him.

She fills his days with fun and enriching adventures — trips to the park, story time at the library, nature walks, and trips to the pool. We’ve always known he was in the best hands with her, and she has truly become a part of our family.

We are only parting ways now because our son is starting preschool in the fall. It’s a bittersweet transition, and we are so grateful for the incredible foundation Monica has helped him build. Any family would be lucky to have her in their lives.

Monica was our full time nanny for almost 2 years and continues to be a wonderful babysitter from time to time. She knows how to connect with our kids and takes time to really understand who they are, what their needs are. She always took time to debrief at the end of the day with acute observations about how the kids were socializing with each other and friends, and flagged anything that was extraordinary - both good and bad. She is so observant and responsible and any family would be lucky to have her. She also has so much experience that I felt I became a better parent working with her and learning from her. 

We are so grateful for Monica's loving, attuned care for our son, who was one year old when she worked with us. Monica worked with us part time for close to six months and was incredibly responsible, reliable and supportive. We only moved on because our schedules stopped aligning. Our son loved Monica and she really helped support him through the transition from being with his mom full time to getting used to spending time with a nanny. Monica has a strong understanding of developmental stages and plans activities accordingly. She is an incredibly responsible, loving and supportive caretaker!

We hired Monica full time this past summer to watch our 2 and 4 year olds. She was so fun with the kids, taking them to cool parks she researched on her own and setting up fun art projects. She has a wonderful personality and my kids adored her. She also taught them a bunch of Spanish in a few short months. Additionally she helped us around the house for some extra hours (laundry, dishes, tidying). Monica is great - I definitely recommend her!

Monica is responsible and dependable. She's been very helpful with distance learning, and she enjoys doing arts and crafts with our kids.

Monica is a gift. She is well organized, thoughtful, trustworthy and very dependable. We first met Monica as a babysitter for our then 6 year old daughter, now 8. We have worked with her for several years as babysitter and additionally also as a house sitter. She is always prompt and follows specific care requests. She was very kind to take such good care of my house, two cats and elderly dog. I recommend Monica without reservation!

Monica was a student of mine in the Intensive English Program at College of Marin. She is an intelligent, vivacious, hardworking, thoughtful young woman. While my student, Monica was an au pair, and she often spoke of her host family and children with affection and dedication. I believe any family would benefit greatly from Monica's care and companionship. 

Monica helped us with both cleaning around the house and taking care of our 2 kids, 5 and 7 years old.  She was extremely reliable- always showed up on time, and confirmed the schedule before she came. She would ask what we needed done and worked diligently to complete all the tasks we had set out for her.   She drove our kids to school in the morning and was very trustworthy and careful in driving them.  She is a very warm and caring person who takes her work to heart and strives to do the best job she can.  Any family will be lucky to have her. 

Monica is a highly energetic, trustworthy, professional individual that attended our ESL (English as a Second Language) classes at the Community College of Allegheny College (Pittsburgh, PA) for several years.  After relocating, Monica continued to pursue her education by enrolling in additional training workshops which illustrates her dedication to lifelong learning .  Her positive attitude and dedication to helping people reflects well in her maturity and caring attitude. 

Monica has worked with my family for the past 9 months. I have two boys ages 3yrs and 10months. She has watched my baby since he was 6wks old and she is wonderful with him. All while keeping my toddler entertained! She is responsible and patient. My little ones guys loves her. 

Monica took care of our 18 month old son 2 days a week from February to End of June 2017.  She was very good with him engaging in a variety of activities i.e. reading, drawing, going to the library and the park.  She is very patient and organized.  Monica prepared snacks and lunch for our son and our kitchen was always more cleaned and organized when Monica around.  Unfortunately our work schedule has changed and we will no longer need a nanny.

Monica was an Au Pair in our area.  She was good friends with our Au Pair and from time to time I would have her watch our children.  She was amazing to my two little girls. Monica helps us regularly with our now 18-month-old boy - she also helped watch him when he was as young as 8 months. She has always been dependable and flexible. She certainly was willing to do anything that I asked of her regarding childcare and was also good at organizing and tidying up. We only needed her short term so it was wonderful to get to know her. She will always be welcome at our house.

I met Monica in 2015 when she joined my ESL class. Her thirst for knowledge and commitment to class provided powerful insights to our class. She balanced a full-time job while taking classes. She's reliable, caring, and helpful. There's no one better to care for your children!

Monica worked with us for a few weeks as a mothers helper. She helped out with laundry and simple meal prep and kitchen clean up in addition to helping me out with our 3 young kids. She is very loving and follows directions well! We would have kept her longer but our schedules didn't work out unfortunately!

Monica is AWESOME!! She is one of the best babysitters I had. She is amazing with kids, treat them like they are her own. Very respectful and helpful doing everything around the house. She cooked for the kids, drove them everywhere, walked the dogs and the best thing is I didn't have to worry about a thing when the kids with her. She follows directions very well. Not to mention that she become the part of the family so fast that after she left the kids still ask for her!
