About Maiara

Hi! My name is Maia, and I'm an experienced caregiver with a background in Early Childhood Education. I have completed ECE units and have hands-on experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. I've worked as a Teacher Assistant in a Montessori school and with the YMCA in an after-school program, supporting children in both structured and play-based environments. This has helped me develop a patient, nurturing approach while also maintaining structure and clear boundaries. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross, have a reliable car, and I'm comfortable with transportation if needed. I'm also fluent in English and Portuguese. I create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment tailored to each child's personality and needs, from active play to calm routines. I'm available for date nights and flexible scheduling.
