With 20+ years of experience as a caregiver and a background as a certified teacher, I bring a calm, patient, and creative approach to every home. I am married for 33 years and have 3 young adult children. I have been a K-2nd grade teacher in the public schools for a decade. I was an EMT and CA state parks ocean lifeguard for 11 years. Whether we are playing outdoors, getting creative, solving puzzles, going to the park, reading or engaging in educational games, I love fostering growth through play. I love children of all ages; newborns to teens! I am very comfortable following your household wishes and am a clear, open communicator. I am also available for travel and love pets! I am hoping for at least 25+ hours a week to working full time. My goal is to make a positive, lasting impact on your family's daily life. Mitzi was the perfect caregiver for our baby and preschooler. We felt incredibly lucky to have had her care for our children. From the very beginning, she was warm, loving, patient, dependable, and completely trustworthy. Our children adored Mitzi, and it was obvious how much she genuinely cared about them. She was attentive to their individual needs, kept them happy and engaged, and created a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. As parents, knowing our children were with someone we could trust gave us so much peace of mind. Mitzi was also incredibly responsible and communicative. She became someone our whole family looked forward to seeing, and we always felt confident that our children were in the very best hands. We cannot recommend Mitzi highly enough. She is truly an exceptional caregiver, and any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her care for their children.
