About Carrie

Nurturing children and supporting families is truly my passion. With five years of experience caring for children aged 8mo-5yr, I find immense joy in fostering their growth and development. I am patient, creative, and approachable, and I believe those qualities help me connect with children. I have a BS in Anthropology, an Associate Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education & Early Child Development. I am certified in First Aid and CPR Training. And I also teach yoga (500hr Yoga Teacher Certification). I enjoy outdoor activities, being creative indoors with music and movement, and playing educational games that promote learning. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I proactively communicate with parents through verbal updates and regular texts or phone calls. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and am happy to help with light housekeeping, swimming supervision and park play dates. I would love to share my love of learning and adventure with your family!
