About Mindy

Hi there! I'm Mindy! I have several years of paid childcare experience caring for children of various ages. I genuinely love working with kids and am passionate about education and youth empowerment. In college, I founded a club called Big Buddy, which connected undergraduate students with local elementary classrooms to be a helping hand and expose young kids to the idea of higher education. I also spent over five years volunteering with a nonprofit that supported inner-city youth. It was incredibly rewarding to foster long-term relationships and watch those kids grow in their confidence, academic abilities, and sense of self. I strive to be a positive role model and create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every child I care for. In my free time, I volunteer as a reading coach. I care deeply about being a steady, positive presence in kids' lives.
