About Kira

Nice to meet you! My name is Kira (she/her), I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2019 with a B. S. in community & international development, and I have a wealth of experience in youth services and education. I've filled many roles working with kids -- as a camp counselor, after school teacher, Big Sister, mentor, program manager, tutor and babysitter! I've worked and volunteered with multiple non profits who center empowering youth as their mission: Saga Education, the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Chittenden County. Currently, I'm with the DREAM Program as their Special Projects & Evaluations Manager here in Philadelphia. I've cared for a wide age range of children, from infants to high schoolers. It's such an honor to play a positive part in a child's life! I always find myself choosing care work, and I pride myself on my ability to stay motivated, even in high stress situations. I hope we can work together!
