About Miia

Hello, parents. My name is Miia, and I have over 20 years of paid childcare experience. I am employed full-time in the certification field, and am currently looking only for evening babysitting positions. I was a certified math teacher, with three years in the classroom. I have cared for numerous children ages 1-18, and was a full-time nanny (including 24-hour care) for three years for two different families with school aged children here in D. C. and in Philly. I taught in three different after-school programs, coached figure skating professionally, and have tutored for serveral years. My skill set includes critical decision maker, tutor, activity planner, time management expert, logistics coordinator, meal preparer, household keeper, conflict resolution counselor, shopping assistant, and parent-child liaison.
