About Michelle

I'd describe my personality as patient, understanding, and caring. I like tutoring because it gives me a chance to work one on one and break concepts down and explain them in different ways for children to better understand them. I started tutoring 25 years ago, but I have taken breaks throughout the years when my schedule has not allowed for it. In my spare time, I like to attend my daughters' sporting events, go to Tiger games, and read. My skills include early reading skills; phonemic awareness, phonics, and sight word recognition. I also work on early math skills; number recognition, 1-to-1 correspondence, and adding and subtracting single and multi-digit numbers.
