About Jataye

Hi! My name is Jataye, and I'm an experienced teacher for 9 years and tutor passionate about helping students grow academically and confidently. I have taught both elementary and middle school, along with a background in special education, allowing me to support a wide range of learning styles. I specialize in math, reading, writing, and homework support, and I'm skilled at breaking down challenging concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps. I also have a background in theater and music, which I use to make learning fun, engaging, and creative. As both a teacher and a mom, I create a patient, supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and building confidence.
