Michelle had an instant connection with my kids (newborn and 4 at the time). She was supportive to our whole family, engaging my 4 year old, helping me navigate the newborn phase again, and helped us stay organized. She is kind and warm and a delight to be around. 

Michelle is an incredible nanny, the kind you meet once in a lifetime and feel so lucky that your family learned and grew under her love and care. She is incredibly efficient and full of energy, doing more each day than you could ever have imagined, from doing enrichment activities with our kids to keeping the house in tip top shape and even prepping amazing meals. She is joyous and brings that joy to her work, and has shared that with our kids. 

Michelle was with us during the delicate transition from one to two children. We had a 3.5 year old and a newborn. She joined us a few months before our second child was born and she beautifully prepared our toddler for the transition. One small example: while we were at the hospital she made a checklist with our toddler of all the activities each day that he could check off before Mama and Dada and baby came home from the hospital. They also drew a map of our city and drew our house and the hospital and played on it with his toy cars. These activities gave our toddler excitement and agency during an uncertain time. Michelle is an absolute expert at newborns, infants, and toddlers (rare to find someone so good with all ages). She knows all the stages of infant and toddler development and gently exposed our children to new topics and skills that were engaging for them and important for their growth. She wove learning into everyday tasks in such a playful way that our toddler absolutely loved learning with her always. She has tons of techniques on how to effectively do transitions with toddlers, like how to get out the door to school each morning smoothly. 

For our infant, Michelle constantly talked with him and made sure he was hearing words and being read to. To top it off, she loves singing and has a beautiful voice and would always be singing to our baby and with our toddler! She also took the initiative to find activities to do with our baby (like finding the absolute best story times in our area) and also activity that we might want to do with our kids (like ping us if a concert was coming up). We are so lucky to have worked with Michelle and treasure our time together. 

Michelle was really sweet with my Daughter and spoke to her at her level, which I really appreciated. 

From the limited time spent, I could tell Michelle is a great Nanny.  In fact, if we were in the MPK area for more than those two days, I would certainly consider hiring her again. 

As soon as we met Michelle we knew she would be great with our baby, and she was! She was our first nanny and was not only wonderful with our daughter but also helped us adjust and learn how to be successful in a nanny share. Michelle helped us through some transitions with sleep and was always a great resource when I had questions as a new mother. I would definitely recommend and hire Michelle again! I was sad to lose her when our time together was up.

The short version is this: Michelle is an absolutely incredible nanny, and, if you are in the position to hire her, your children are immensely lucky. 

We met Michelle through a family who had worked with her for two years. Even though we knew Michelle was moving to Baltimore in a couple months, we joined the other family to form a nanny share. I am so grateful we did. The other family had told us how wonderful Michelle is, and their adoration quickly made perfect sense. 

Our kiddos are both two, potty training (with great success, thanks to Michelle), new to each other, and generally mischievous, and Michelle not only kept order, she gave them wonderful, magical days. Our son LOVES Michelle, as do we. She is loving, firm, energetic, fun, and full of fun ideas. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say: If I could continue to leave my son in Michelle's care, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Who is the single best caregiver on this platform, you may have wondered. Well, you found her. Michelle cared for our son for almost two years (he's 2), until she sadly moved to another city where her partner was offered a new job. She is absolutely AMAZING. She is incredibly warm and loving with the little ones (we hosted two nanny shares with her over the years). She has boundless energy and an enviable supply of I-wish-I-came-up-with-that ideas for how to promote each child's development. She gave our son so much self-confidence in his daily discoveries, and made us better parents along the way. Michelle is a true professional: with deep insights on early child development, health, safety, and logistics. She's also hard-working, reliable, and a just a pleasure to be around. Michelle truly became a part of our family. We've been incredibly lucky to have Michelle in our lives and we cannot recommend her enough!

Michelle nannied (in a nanny share) for our daughter from the age of 7 months to about 2 years, and we could not have been happier with her. You can really tell she loves kids, and she always made sure to find a way to activate and stimulate them, without the need for any of the parents to do any activity planning. 

And, most importantly to me, our daughter LOVED spending time with her!

Michelle is everything we could ever ask for to be a part of our family (1 and 2.5 at the time). She is loving, caring and always put my boys first. Especially since we have a son with special needs, she was a tremendous support for all of us, helping us understand some behavior better and trying out different ways for developing new skills. I've always felt safe and comfortable leaving my boys with her and I know they will have a wonderful day, always with some new adventure in mind for the day! Michelle will always have a special place in our hearts for being the lovely, caring person she is. For all of us.

Michelle took care of my 3 children this past summer. They are ages 2, 5 and 7 and they immediately took to her. She is fun, friendly and kind. More importantly for me she was reliable, hard working and was able to take the initiative to help me out around the house  without being asked to....a rare quality to find these days! Michelle was my son's teacher when he moved to the toddler room at his daycare. He was 13 months old when he moved up and he was the youngest in the class. Michelle took special care to ensure that he was well taken care of and truly helped him during his adjustment period. I had the pleasure of being Michelle's co-teacher for several months, and I left the job shortly after my son came into the classroom. During the time that I worked with Michelle before my son came into the classroom, she was very attentive to the needs of each individual child. She took time to spend one on one time with each child, and truly knew the strengths of each child. If a child was struggling with one area, Michelle would take initiative to help this child grow and overcome any obstacles. Whenever I need a babysitter, I always call Michelle first!

Michelle is a kind and compassionate young woman who engages with kids in a trusting and positive manner. Her musical talent as well as her extensive travel experiences are an added bonus to all children in her care.

Michelle cares deeply about every single child I have seen her work with. She is patient and takes the time to fully understand each kid. As a result, children respond well to her and really like being around her. She's a natural.
