About Micaela

Hi, so glad to connect with you! I am am experienced nanny and have been working with children (ages 3+) in some capacity for 10 years in preschool classrooms, summer camps, tutoring, and nannying. Through the years I've developed many skills-- I do well with behavior management, and am exceptionally warm and patient. I am also familiar with the science of reading, phonics education, and can teach in both Spanish and English. When I work with a child, I don't just give them an i-pad, and I take great pride in providing educational enrichment. I'd describe my personality as warm, creative, and patient. I like working with kids because they make me laugh! I started working with kids when I was 14, and babysat my neighbor's preschooler. One thing you should know about me is I am a grad student.
