I'd describe my personality as friendly, hard working, and empathic. I like working with kids because I have decades of teaching, tutoring l, and positive caregiving experience to build on. I'm looking for a job that supplements my teacher retirement and allows me to support families. I started working with kids when I had my first of three children at age 20 followed by a long and productive teaching career from preschool through high school English and Special Ed teaching. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, and do CrossFit. One thing you should know about me is I am responsible, caring, and competent. Susan is a great caregiver! She listens to both parents and kids, she is energetic with lots of fun activities and she has a background in education so she understands how to help kids grow and learn new skills. Of course, she is safe and we also found her to be extremely flexible and accommodating when things inevitably come up with a busy family. We couldn’t recommend Susan enough, you and your kids are in good hands.
