About Heather

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, positive, and warm. I delight in the wonder and joy of being a kid! There is so much to discover when you're young and I love seeing the world through their eyes. As a kid, everything has the possibility to be fun and I love having fun alongside them. I'm looking for a job where I can really invest-in and partner with a family. I started working with kids when I was 13. I started as a babysitter for kids in the neighborhood. I spent my high school and college summers teaching swim lessons to kids. For the last 4 years, I have served on staff in student ministry, working with middle and high school students and regularly helping with the preschool and kid's ministry. In my spare time, I like to take my dog, Lucy, for walks, bake, and play card games with my husband and friends.
