I like working with kids because I believe children are the best part of humanity. I love watching kids grow and change. I enjoy doing day to day tasks and activities with kids and how exciting it can be for them! I'm looking for a job that is regular hours, about 30-40 hours a week starting late this summer. I enjoy cleaning and cooking if time allows. I want to build a relationship with a child (or children) and their family! I am also open to date night or occasional babysitting as schedules allow! I started working with kids when I was in high school babysitting a bit and helping to teach toddler dance classes. I then worked at a daycare for almost two years with babies and toddlers as an assistant teacher. Currently I am working as a private nanny for a family who is sending their toddler to pre-school this summer/fall. In my spare time, I like to read and to cook. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I enjoy yoga and staying active too!

Aliza has been caring for my family for nearly two years. She's been fantastic with my littlest, who she started caring for at 9 months old. She's able to balance the needs and interests of multiple kids with very large age gaps. On top of that, she keeps our home and family life running smoothly by helping with laundry, cleaning up after the kids, grocery shopping, and even making dinner some days. Some things we love about Aliza are: - She's honest, kind, and genuinely cares for all the members of my family. - She keeps the kids stay in their routines, even with the challenges of snow days, etc. - She engages with the kids according to their different needs and abilities. - She reads with the kids so much. - The house is always tidier when she leaves. Finding the right fit in a long term nanny is challenging, but Aliza has been outstanding. My older kids want her at every birthday party, concert, and sports game.
