About Mia

Learning should be an exciting journey! With three years of experience, I've found that every student possesses unique potential. I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I actively listen and observe initial interactions with new material, encouraging open communication to discover the best methods for each student. I tutor Math, Science, Art, Study Skills, and History for Elementary and Middle School students. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems to build momentum. Regular updates and open dialogue ensure a collaborative environment. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am CPR trained and hold a First Aid certification. I would love to work with you and your student!
