About Melody

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my passion. With 12 years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in making Math and English concepts accessible and engaging. I believe every student possesses unique strengths, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods to fit your specific learning style. I love connecting complex topics to your personal interests to keep you motivated. Because I believe clear communication builds trust, I maintain a collaborative environment with parents through regular progress updates. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet you at your home or the library to help you grow. I look forward to supporting your journey and celebrating your success together.
