(I am located in Foster City!) Hi there! I am a mom to a 10-month-old baby girl and have been in childcare long before becoming a mama. Prior to having my daughter I have done full time nannying of multiples, worked in a daycare center as well as home schooling and covid pods. Among the experience I have, I am pursuing my degree in child development and am almost completed with my bachelors. I prefer a Montessori approach with little to no screen time! sign language and other ways to communicate with the littles is one of the most rewarding outcomes when they pick up one it. Working with children has always been a passion of mine from a young age. I have been CPR certified several times as well as worked in the childcare industry upwards of 5 years. Currently, I am offering in home childcare. A few days a week I watch a little boy who is 2 and will soon be transitioning to preschool so I have space and on alternating days a 15-month-old little girl as well.

We hired Melissa in 2020 when my older girls, ages 5 and 7, were starting remote learning and I was going back to work after my maternity leave. I was going to put the baby into daycare and due to crazy circumstances we ended up having to keep the baby at home. Melissa seamlessly immediately took on the care for all three kids with a newborn, remote learning, and caring for everyone. She was extremely proactive and knew exactly what each kid needed without needing to be told or asked. She was invaluable as we were all navigating the pandemic and our new lives at home. We were so sad that she moved back to the South Bay. We can't recommend her enough.
