About Meghan

I'm a high school media coordinator with 23 years of experience in education at predominantly high schools and middle schools, with a brief time in elementary school. Prior to getting my Master's degree in Library Information Sciences, I earned a Master's degree in Teaching Special Education. Content areas I have taught - ELA, Math (5th-10th grade), Science (Biology, primarily), and Social Studies, research/writing, reading comprehension, and digital literacy. I worked 16 years as an educator of students with disabilities - learning disabilities, ADHD, & mild intellectual disabilities. I enjoy being clear and consistent about methods for approaching new problems with students. I love helping kids grow confident with new skills and when they get their "aha" moment.
