About Megan

Hi! My name is Megan, and I am a 2nd grade teacher in NYC. I have experience teaching both 2nd and 4th grade, as well as working as a Reading Specialist with elementary-aged students. I am literacy certified and have specialized training in dyslexia and evidence-based literacy instruction. I am available for school-year tutoring in reading and math. I can provide support with phonics, foundational reading skills, fluency, comprehension, writing, math skills, homework, and building overall academic confidence. I am patient, reliable, organized, and passionate about helping students grow. I strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment where children feel comfortable, motivated, and confident in their abilities.
