About Meara

Hi! I'm a nurturing and dependable caregiver with a strong background in child development and over 5 years of professional nanny experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children. I hold a B. S. in Child and Family Studies from Ohio University and a Child Life Specialist graduate certificate from Miami University. For the past year, I worked as a Child Life Specialist providing emotional and psychosocial support to children and families. I'm confident supporting routines, emotional regulation, and busy household schedules. I'm currently seeking a position around 25+ hours per week. I value reliability, clear communication, and building strong relationships with families. I will begin a Master's program in Primary Education this summer. My courses will start at 4:00 p.m. twice per week (either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday), so I would need to finish care around 3:00 p.m. on those days. I will begin student teaching in August and would need to fully conclude care by then.
