About Mia

Hi! I'm Mia, a third-year Primary Education and Intervention Specialist major at The OSU. I have a strong passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported. I have experience as a Teaching Assistant at a university child care program, where I work with young children in a structured classroom setting. I've also been a camp counselor, teaching aid, lifeguard, and mentor through College Mentors for Kids, giving me experience with a wide range of ages and personalities. I've worked closely with children with diverse needs and I always strive to create an inclusive and positive environment. I love staying active, doing crafts, and coming up with fun, creative activities for kids. I'm responsible, patient, and genuinely enjoy building connections with the children I care for.
