About Maura

Hello! My name is Maura and I have been work ing professionally with children since 2021. I lived and nannied in Seattle before moving home to Portland. Here, I've been in early childhood education, as a teacher in a 2s classroom. I believe that every kiddo I work with teaches me just as much as I teach them. I love getting to learn with them! I use educational play to support age appropriate social and emotional development in kids. I value strong routines and skill building. It is a great privilege to be able to watch and encourage the kids I work with to grow, learn about the world around them and find the truest version of themselves. I support the skills you as parents are building with your littles (e. g. consistency in potty training, strengthening fine and gross motor skills) and value open communication. As your child's care provider, we are a team with the same motivation: your child's success and growth. I look forward to meeting your wonderful families and kiddos!
