Matthew is a caregiver, not a caretaker. And, for that we always were very grateful during the 7 years that he worked 40+ hours/week with my disabled son. He was attentive, interactive, patient, kind and cheerful throughout their hours together. Matthew consistently did an excellent, detailed job with hygiene and grooming, as well nutrition and hydration needs. He took an active interest in the physical therapy regimen, and was particular about required record keeping and daily verbal reporting of any observations or issues that arose during his shift. Beyond these critical basics, he provided wonderful companionship and facilitated thoughtfully planned activities for them to enjoy together.
